Life in Tread Safe Shoes

Same trailer...different park...
Every time I say I am never going to buy another pair of tread safe shoes...
I'm a waitress. It is what I do and I am pretty good at it.
I am not a waitress at a white linen, jacket and tie required, use the proper fork restaurant.
I am a waitress at a burger (well, wings) and beer, please pull your pants up, Crap- the hostess forgot to give you a fork - quick someone roll some silverware with those paper towels so my table has a fork to eat her fried pickles with - restaurant.
(I have worked in the white linen variety, but much prefer the casual style. More laid back and I suppose, closer to my roots.)
I have been doing this for a long time, a lot longer than I care to admit to sometimes, and definitely longer than I had planned.
I like it for the most part, honestly. The things I hate, though. Well, those things are not unique to my present place of employment.
There is always a slacker, a whiner, the stoner, the ass kisser, a drama queen... I can remember the names of quite a few of these for many years back...hell, all the way back.
Same trailer. Different park.
